I would LOVE to have a clear valve cover to watch the valvetrain on my car spin, or on a vtec honda… i think this already exists though
I’m surprised there isn’t a camera that mounts inside the valve cover that you can run to a monitor molded into the enginebay.
I normally hate rice but I actually like these. No way I’d pay the kind of money they’re selling them for, but if I could replace my coolant hose with a clear red tinted one for $10-$20 I’d probably do it.

Clear valve covers were tried on SBC and other misc imports first back in the 70’s and then in the early 2000’s
Sounds like Lexan clouds really fast from the heat
Somebody tried pyrex for the SBC but the oil/vapors quickly made it almost impossible to watch anything after the motor had started
they have had these out for bikes for a while, a ton of guys have them on vrods and i think they are horrible…
