Contributing to the war on global warming, Koenigsegg has adapted one of its supercars to work on biofuel. Its new Bio Fuel Powered Koenigsegg CCXR not only more environmentally friendly than its ordinary siblings, it is much more powerful too.
The Koenigsegg CCXR now features impressive 1018 horsepower reached at 7200 rpm and the torque of 1060 Nm peaking at 6100 rpm. That’s made possible thanks to ethanol’s side effect of cooling the combustion chambers and a higher octane value reaching 113.The company promises that all Koenigsegg CCXs can be retrofitted to run on the E85 biofuel.
The CCXR is finally out. Nothing to say but "Koenigsegg :bowdown :bowdown :bowdown
Top gear did a review/show on that car a while back, i dont feel like looking for the link… but search Top gear Koenigsegg. The car is amazing. All the body panels are carbon fiber, and hinged. They all unhook, and can be moved away from the body of the car… almost like taking the skin off a skeleton. The car they said, is incredibly easy to work on because there is nothing in the way. Not to mention, it’s the only car that the current Stig has ever crashed in.
