Kouki Conversion parts breakdown $$$$$

hey guys,

I have been on the boards for a while now and I am seeing many people looking into doing the kouki conversion on there zenkis as of late. I have been trying to source these parts on and off for the last 4 months. After looking back I may have decided to just buy a full front clip and factor in the paint at a later date. However I am trying to see what everyone thinks is a fair price breakdown on a JDM front clip. I have seen them range from 1200 to as high as 1600. That being said I will use 1400 as a marker.

Now the question is how do think the 1400 should be broken down based on parts??

Any input would be great

Here is what I have come up with

Lights (complete) -$ 400.00
Bumper(fogs) - $400.00
Hood -$200.00
Fenders -$250.00

Rebar and miscellaneous -$150.00

Now how far off am i???

Cheers

Sounds about right.

Buy a front clip rather than parting it yourself. You’ll get all the proper plugs and wont have to rewire the lights. Everything will be there. Its much easier and less headache doing it this way.

My front end was roughly ~2000 shipped with duty and BS to my house
I installed it myself in about 4 hours
Paint was 200 bucks and then another 400 for labour to paint it.
Then HIDs, JDM fog lights ~ 400 bucks.

JDM kouki front end + CF hood = me paying $1100

Well thanks guys there was some good insight into this from a pricing stand point Thanks fobwall and MR x . Guess writing a detailed thread means that I should go out and find a clip for 1100.

Thanks
