I think we can all agree that the Lake George meets this last season were a great success. Let’s discuss some ideas that might make this season even better. Personally, I think we should make the dates/times a little more concrete, so we’re not all having to check the forum daily/hourly for information. IMO, every other Saturday at 8PM would work. Due to the distances we travel to do it, once a week is too often and would die out. Obviously we could make changes as needed for rain, special events, etc.
Every other weekend would only work for me if the first meet ended up on my weekend off. If not, I’d be working every weekend of meeting up. I work every other weekend in other words.
Understandable. Everyone is going to have their preferences, thankfully we’ve got plenty of time to figure it out. As it gets closer, shoot me your schedule and we will work with it.
I’m working this weekend, so the following weekend and every other one after that would work for me. It obviously doesn’t have to cater around one single person though.
Cool, thanks. That’s the thing that I see sometimes…people tend to get too narrow-minded (not you at all) and try to get an event catered to their specific needs.
Gotta start it on the weekends Nicks off. The 200 needs to be there to clown On dese new slang term meaning to be funny for black guys with a z at the end cause its funny and not racist at all.
No issues with having the first meet on Nick’s Saturday off. We’ll figure it out as it gets closer. Long winter in front of us. I’m actually enjoying this off season!
I’ll post this again when the season starts, but if anyone is hesitant on coming due to E85 availability, it’s available right off of exit 18 (Cumbies) and 23 (Mobil)! I constantly check the ethanol content off of exit 23, and will probably test exit 18 this season.
Altamont Ave has E85. The same place that has unleaded 110 race gas. It is still a little out of the way but you could swing thru on your way home from work. I think their E85 was either more than 85% ethanol or had some contamination tho, cause my fuel trims went up about 10% after filling up there and my MPGs went down for that tank. No driveability problems tho…
I like the idea of a solid foundation for schedules meets. I think we need a calendar or something made so people can just look at it and schedule for upcoming events.
