After watching the slideshow of burning lamorghini’s on top gear I now have no desire to even dream of owning one.
the lambo resale is horrible… so one burning is probably the best way to get out from one… just saying…

Haven’t Lambos always had a problem with quality? I thought they got a lot better once Audi took them over but apparently they are still having issues. I’m sure at some point Audi will make even more of an impact to try and tighten things up, it’s terrible that they are ruining their own reputation.
if i were him i woulda done the same thing but i wouldn’t have gone to the MEDIA to bad mouth a top exotic car manufacturer

Touche, sir. I’ve never owned or worked on an Audi so those things slip my mind. But the R8 fire issue was a concept, no? Wasn’t it the turbo diesel model and they decided to cancel it after that incident?
The fire issue was with the V10, the diesel was canceled(which was stupid) due to the lack of want for a diesel supercar. The burnt our carcass pictures where just funny…
speaking of which, i have half a dozen german cars with electrical issues out back to work on… and Toyota seats kill my back, might have just been the few i’ve been in when we had a lexus dealer next to the porsche shop i was at but i wasn’t that impressed personally.

saw an S8 get bought back for an intermittent brake noise with oem Brembo brakes.
I like screeching brakes. It usually means there’s some HC pads on there.
performance oriented brakes are going to make noise. fixed calipers, 2 pc rotors, no anti rattle device to speak of… what did this guy expect?
