We don’t see a lot of them in for service issues. We have seen an influx of departments purchasing them lately over the Latitude and OptiPlex series.
Like someone mentioned, unless you are playing some serious gaming, you won’t have any issues with them. I know a lot of people using them for cad, architecture, design, and gaming and love them.
You get what you pay for. I’d get a XPS or Studio Dell if I needed another laptop.
could someone do me a favor? my work computer lacks flash and i cant see the specs or the cost of the xps m1530 they have for sale today (450 off). could someone post them up here?

lol if this wasnt an out of pocket/pre-loan purchase, and i didnt also have to worry about deposits for an apartment and furnishing the apt. i might consider it
