Laptop pointers

My brother is looking for a laptop between 600 and 800. 1000 absolute tops. What should he shoot for, needs it for CAD/solid modeling apps.

screen size, battery life… built in wireless, and HD size (for big drawings)

i :heart: my dell insprion 6000…i use inventor and arch desktop on it all the time…i forget the screen size like 15"…buikt in wireless…i think 80 gig HD and 1.2 ghz processor…my abbreviations might be off

you are going atleast a gig of ram to support it, i have a 3.2ghz sony, and it hated rendering and shading until i put 1024 ram in it.
