I don’t have pics, they’re at the warehouse. In terms of age at least 2 years, I have to find the lease papers if I still have them to get exact dates. There is nothing wrong with them, fully checked and fresh reinstalls on all of them, might have minor scuffs due to usage but mechanically/ technically they’re in perfect condition.
The thinkpads are really durable laptops, i used to have an A21 then I upgraded to a T41, I never had any problems with either one, and thy we’re both taken off-lease.

Great laptops. Thinkpads are the shit. Id much rather have a slower Thinkpad than this POS Dell that im using.

we go through a LOT of all types of notebooks at work – all off-lease government (and some large corp) gear and audit them. we also have a notebook repair dept going at all times and anyone who argues that thinkpad’s aren’t by far the best quality notebooks is an idiot.
they had plenty of issues themselves but none that are too horrible (all cosmetic) and when compared to others like hp/compaq, dell, toshiba, etc. They’re in a league of their own.
And yes, this applies to all series, A, R, X, T… whatever.
And no, I don’t have one - I’m not biased.
