How this all started for those who aren’t following:

since when is 190hp MORE then enough power?? Its not. Their is never enough power until its enough to make your butthole pucker and your scared shitless. Thats when you reach your braking point, so are you saying 190hp makes your butthole pucker??

This is complete bullshit. America makes 6-7 good cars?? Maybe in your eyes, not in mine. This debate could go on forever, your a import lover, and im a domestic lover, however I give imports credit, where credit is due and both imports and domestics have their advantages and disadvantages but so say they only make a few good cars is obscured. When you driving down the street’s during the day, what do you mostly see? Jeeps? Cavaliers? Cobalts? F-150’s? Silverado’s? Ya, I guess you must be blind enough to notice that all these make up half the traffic on the streets, and the other half is imports, such as civics,altima’s, corrola’s and such.[/QUOTE]

  1. I said 190hp for a NORMAL person who ISN’T a power hungry enthusiast is MORE than enough. I can pass who I need to pass with ease. I can get up every major road that goes up a hill, etc. For a daily driven car with a normal citizen (again, not a power hungry one), 190hp is more than enough to get the job done.

Is that not what I said in the other thread? “One trick pony” ring a bell? I was referring to the power. That’s the only pro of American cars in my opinion. That and the fact that they are made in the US which means a lower price tag. I gave credit where credit is due. I like all cars, be it American, etc. I remember mentioning the Z06, the Ford Edge, etc. Can you PLEASE stop reading selectively?

You’re going to call Cavaliers, Escorts, Taurus’s, etc. good cars? You’re shitting me. Honda and Toyota shit all over those cars with the Corolla, Camry, Accord, etc.

Also, don’t bring trucks into this conversation since I gave kudos to EVERY TRUCK BUILT IN AMERICA in the other thread.

And just to put it out there: I am more than happy to debate/argue with you. Don’t take it the wrong way. I don’t want people on here hating me. At the end of the day, we’re all car fans. That’s all that matters.
