Lets talk cars/trucks... debt consolidation

Might want to exchange the word month and year.

And lol @ whoever said 3k a year is a lot in taxes

Lol my house is over 200 and under 1500/year I’m taxes. Muahaha

I can’t wait to move out of this state my house is 140s and taxes with property/school are 5kish

Not sure how people come up with the cost of living in less in Buffalo.

I’m not saying what I pay is a lot, its silly cheap. But I’d rather be paying the majority of my monthly housing payment against my loan vs insurance and taxes.

Simply by living in a different county (2 miles south) and buying a house that 5 years newer, may have cost more (house cost) but the monthly payment would be the same. Also, when its paid off, the carrying costs won’t be so high. (Thank goodness for homestead laws down here)

It’s at least comparable once all the costs are evened out. Job market here pwns buffalo though.

Seems like a lot. My taxes are less than 1% of my purchase price and I think my insurance was maybe $600 bucks…

My taxes are nearly 3x that.

Homestead laws rule. I need a more expensive house to take advantage of it down the road though. Ha

What town do you live in?

In PA so I’m sure that is the biggest difference… I know NY is bad but I guess I didn’t realize Florida was too

Fuck it i’m moving to PA long live Pittspeed

I’ll gladly pay higher taxes into our school systems so our kids don’t turn out like Pennsyltucky retards.

Some how places outside of Erie county produce successful people and outside of NY for that matter.

Yeah but obviously this must be where awesome people come from. They say the first step to success is to leave WNY, so we can safely assume that success starts in WNY right?

Last I knew pa public schooling was ranked higher than ny state

jesus fucking christ you twat monkeys I was making fun of Pennsylvania in general and Pittspeed in particular by suggesting that their education systems are lacking. I did this by satirically combinging the name of Pennsylvania with the name of Kentucky, a state that typically carries an uneducated redneck type of image amongst northerners, thereby suggesting that they are similar in education if not culture to a lesser respected state.

You fucking dick slaps.

I guess the next time I want to get a laugh on here I’ll just kick a fish.

Classic fry

As a WNY native there certainly are a bunch of stump jumpin hicks down here… but some of the schools are also very good…it can be pretty hit and miss

lol @ pennsyltucky

on another note, i was out with some friends last night and we were talking about property taxes paid… this dude i used to work with pays almost as much in property tax as i do on my entire mortgage in a year… HOLY EFF what up with that shit?

My neighbor has a house very close to value of mine… he says he pays less than 1000 for insurance. (I’m 3x that)

Having a house built in 2005 > 1990… ughhh

15 years shouldn’t make a big difference in the rates. Have you tried getting other quotes?
