have you considered doing the later 997 style LED tail light upgrade? they look so much better on these.
I Have not even driven it yet. lol But yeah I will consider that, it should give it that modern look.
I looked into them, and they are currently out of stock on the 997.1 ones (that work without errors). The actual 997.2 ones are different and require a bunch more stuff (like a new bumper cover)

Only if you have an “early build” engine. Otherwise you should be fine, and you can’t replace the newer ones without opening up the engine. you are looking for a number greater than 69507475
