Looking: Borrow/Rent/Buy Thule (or other brand) cargo box

Taking a road trip down to visit my parents in Florida, anyone have a roof top cargo box like below…either to borrow/rent/buy (not looking to spend a ton, don’t think i’ll need one again). Would be putting it on a 2014 Explorer, not sure if most are universal. Please post up what you have.

If it were summer you could borrow mine but this time of year I’m using it twice a week to ski.

Find one on craigslist, and then sell it for what you payed when you get back. They hold their value pretty well, the only fitment issue you will run into with them will be positioning it so you can still open your hatch without having it hang over the windshield a ton.

Already looked and called about one for 200, waiting to hear back. Others were 4-500, not looking to spend that and resell.

Last time I drove to Myrtle beach, I bought one of the canvas waterproof ones. It worked fine and held a few carry on size suitcases.
