Looking for 3800 Series II and Trans for 96 Bonneville

I know it’s a long shot, but I am checking to see if anyone knows of a drivetrain available.

If you are doing a direct replacement, you’ll need a 96 or 97 Transmission, as the 96 Used the 4T60E transmission for the NA Series 2 3800. The 98 and 99 used the 4T65E trans. If you happen to need the Supercharged one, then that’s a 96 Only trans.

The motor can be from almost any 3.8L series 2, and you might be able to swap in a series 3 3800 without too much issue. I believe you can also swap up to a 4T65E by using a 98-99 computer, wiring harness, and axles.

I have a 96 riv I bought off here last yr That I might part out if you’re interested. it has about 120 on it and is SC’d if interested

I have a 96 Bonneville ssei im going to scrap it. Motor and trans are good. Its yours if you offer me more than scrap ($450)
