I’m trying to do throw on my drilled/slotted rotors today and I need a place to work on it. I have all the tools, jacks and such, but just no place to do it. Anyone willing to throw back a few beers and maybe lend me a spot/hand?
you don’t have a driveway? simple job…should take less than 1hr with basic tools/jack.
I do, but its my landlords blacktop and he is super picky about it. He doesn’t want me using jack stands on it which sucks.

Plywood squares worked great when I lived at home. They had just repaved the driveway and me Ma was super picky about it.
I had to spray tire shine on the street!
Ha… I used to do it at work until I overheard the owner asking someone if they knew what was making the half moon shaped stains in the parking lot. 
Ill lend you a spot if you lend me a frosty 6 pack of craft beer and a $20 spot. Air tools,lift and supplies will be there if needed.
I sweet talked my landlord into letting me use his garage. sure beat doing it in the sun today on the blacktop. I had alot of problems getting those stupid screws out that hold the rotors on, but once I got an impact driver, I was good.

The drivers side rear caliper is sticking which is odd since it was replaced last week. It was so hot when I got home tonight that it was glowing orange and the smell was pretty bad. I will have to tear it apart tomorrow.
You know that slotted/drilled rotors are useless on DD cars like that right? On topic: did you grease the slider pins when you put them back on? That could be the reason they are sticking, had the same problem on the GFs civic.
I do know that they are useless, but I got a good deal and I figured if I was going to buy brakes, I might as well do it right. These will prob last 3x as long as a stock set would. I did not grease the slider, I will have to tomorrow.
What brakes did you end up going with.
I believe they were the ones you recommended to me, or someone did anyways.
