i am considering getting onto the water to go fishing and for fun… i figured a canoe would be the best way to go… now where would be the best local place around? i know dicks and gander mnt. in robinson sell them…? i want to spend as little as possible but good service would be nice to

used is probably a cheaper way to do it, search craigslist for something.
if i was you though i wouldnt get a canoe. ive honestly been fishing since i was about 18months old. my parents were pretty “outdoorsy” so ive been in a few boats. a canoe is really unstable and too small. you should find a nice v-hull 12-14ft boat

yeah canoes are a little rough unless you only plan on taking it to the yough or lakes with maybe no more than 9.9 hp motor allowed

the only motor iw ould put on a canoe is a trolling motor about 55lb thrust thats it
