for thsoe wondering, a Lq9 rod is the same as a LS2 rod and are more of a " I " beam rod which is more of the Ideal rod instead of the typical Lq4 rod similar to a LS1/LM7 rod which is alot weaker and not really capable of handling high HP or rpm
sorry Lq9 on the left
how muchpower can u run safely n/a or on the gas on a stock LQ9 bottom end?
a godo bit, i was pushing what i was thru the LQ9, i know holty is around 600BHP thru his
ls1 rods a little over 500, lq9 rods a little over 600
not to be a dick. but isnt the motor you are building put together or are you looking for choices.
I been talking to my motor builder back and forth on choices
neither just showing to some the differences if some ppl wanted a strong rod. all they have to do is turn and look for a LQ9
my motor thats already assembled is all Lunati fully forged
