Tony from Redline motor sports with his cammed/head package N20 SS ran slicks last year and it was actually hooking up too much that it was bogging the car down out of the hole no matter what he did…he threw on drag radials and ran a faster time. Slicks were actually too much tire.

With my 23" slicks i’m coming out of the hole around 8k rpm. That got me a 1.80 60ft last year.
