Setting Vtec to anything below 4000 you’re in the danger zone.

Vtec is set to 6k stock, redline is 8200 iirc.
Mine is set to 4300 at WOT, 5200 leisurely driving. and an 8600 rev limit, power falls off around 8 so i just shift at 8.
I’m running my car, I wont feel like a prick running it because this is sold to me, not some girl :lol but if ya let me take a run in the kswap I’ll let ya take a run or two in this. and first mod is gonna be either coil overs or just some springs to drop it like an inch or so. then some nice wheels, then a 10" sub of some sort, gotta talk to somebody who knows somthing about that cuz its my daily, not a race car and I want to hear my music nicely. then maybe I’ll get some powar mods but I dont know if that voids the warranty or anything and I’m not gonna do that.
thats true, I want overall decent sound, to be honest I cant even really tell the difference, I just want to have 1 10" and like a 500watt amp just so I have some nice, not overpowering bass. I just want this thing to be a nice daily, thats why its gettin dropped a little (florida roads will definitly allow this) and its gonna have some nice 17" wheels, no bigger cuz I want to use the “high preformance summer tires” that they came with cuz I’m cheap.
honda warranty not a dealer warranty. I assume that means it can be taken to any honda stealership. and yeah you can order the mugen exhaust and suspension as accessories, the exhaust is $403 extra and the suspension is a little over a grand, I might just get them from the factory.
it sounds crazy but Im paying for all of it, my parents wont pay for half like they promised but fuckem, I want it and I can pay for it so…and its not really getting modded, not like im goin to synapse the day I get it and ordering a tial vband manifold and building an epic k20 turbo. although down the road thats always an option. but odds are in a few years if I do real work to it, its just gonna get cammed, headers, exhaust, and i.t.b’s and hours and hours of tuning :lol itb’s are fucking sick looking and n.a power can certainly be had out of the k20

na if I were ever to build a hatch I’d put a b18c5 in it, I could do a little work to that and make it faster than the k at the same price, maybe the price of a k swap will go down a little and that will be more feasable but until then a nice cammed b series swap into a da would make me happy in my pants.

a k swap is like 10k isnt it? i could do a bswap for half that, power to price just doesnt seem worth it, unless I got a serious hook up I’d just do a gsr or itr motor in it. now a kswap stock for stock will definitly kill it, but at twice the cost.

and a K swap can be done for MUCH less than 10k i’m not the only person to ever do it, SOOOO many people have done and are doing it for cheaper than quoted prices.
Yeah DA’s do look sick, but the suspension/subframe set-up sucks. Like I said, I’m sick of mine already and I’ve driven it twice. So… maybe a straight trade for the Si is in order?
