M14 x 1.5 Plugs

Anyone know where I can get these plugs locally? I need to plug up
my oil and water ports on the block.

I went to Gates catalog and I can get it through Napa @ $9 each (and I
need two).

Doubt Brafasco would have it.

14 millimeters = 0.551181102 inch

The port is roughly a 1/2" port, so yes, I am right.

Well Napa tells me they tried to special order it but were unable to.

Besides Princess Auto, any other leads? :dunno:

Should I just tap the banjo bolt, and put a screw in there?

i will see if my work can get them, i work at napa in oakville, but we have alot more places we can get things from, and if i can get them for you, how many do you need.

Eek, Burlington for two plugs. Well I need two (for oil and water ports).

Sweet, went to Brafasco and dude had two hex bolts in this size.

Told me to just ‘take it’ :shock:

Sure beats paying $9ea from Napa.

Shit, I drop by Canadian Tire today and guess what…they had M14x1.5
oil drain plugs for $2ea. :noes:

Glad I didn’t buy the one @ $9ea
