Trying to burn a divx vid of my wife working (not porn) to a DVD for a conference she’s going to. I tried “Burn” but it gave me an error when it tried to burn (after converting AVI to MPG.) I’m trying iskysoft creator right now. Looks good so far, but it leaves a watermark unless you buy it. I’m OK with buying it I just don’t want to spend money on software unless it’s worth it.

iDVD burned it fine, but then there was no sound when I tried to play it.

Anything else I should try?

hrmm. I had the same issue late last week :frowning:

If you find a good freeware one that works let me know

Try to convert the video file using MPEGStreamClip and then burn the DVD. You might actually be able to do everything from MPEGStreamClip as right now I only use it to convert MPEG-2 to MOV.

god, why divx??

Because I touch myself at night?

clearly dave does that as well, he just doesn’t use divx though. lol

I know on windows if you are encoding, you need to make sure you have all the codecs installed you are using. Since encoding a DVD is a standard, I assume you might need to check your audio codecs you are using and make sure you have the de/encoder installed

Yeah that might be my problem. The vid plays without audio in quicktime too, but it plays properly in a DIVX player. So how do you install codecs on a Mac, since I apparently didn’t do that right.
