Not sure. Since this is a vintage model I’m guessing no.

Do these really go for this much? I have one very similar (sans wood case) to this collecting dust.

I see the 2285b’s go for $600 + all day long on eBay (with the wood case). Hell, even the shittier ones that are refurbished without the wood case go for $300 +.

So how long has it been for sale? What type of work has been done to it? How many owners? How much use has it been through? How did you come across the unit?
Just to be forward with you, I will not be offering you your asking price. I am not interested in the speakers that you are offering and would like to see more pictures of the unit if possible. I would also like to know how flexible you are with the price. I’m willing to make a fair offer if you are really interested in selling.
Its been for sale since the date that I created this original post, I’m not in a hurry to sell. No work has been done to it. 2 owners, my dad and I. Small amount of hours on it. I’m flexible on price but it doesn’t really matter to me if I sell it today or 2 yrs from now so I’m not going to take $200. As for more pics I can send you a link of more pictures.
