Math... need... Help!

isnt it 7.481 gallons in one cubic foot at 1 ATM?

doesnt pressure change that ratio?

Sooo, my original math is correct?
I’m really fucking confused now.
lol.

Ugh.

Basically, I’m looking for 2-3 minutes of run time.
More would always be nice.
But I would prefer that, without the compressor running.

Considering, 220V @ 22 amps single phase… Roughly 5k watts.
I have 11k watts total, which would generally be entirely used by gouging…
So an extra 5k watts of juice… has no where to come from :stuck_out_tongue:

Think I’m going to do some gambling…

Think I’m going to get it…
I’d prefer to get the IR or equiv, but they’re all are $2.1k
Sooo save myself 700 bucks… and… who knows… :X

if you have room/$$$ buy a broken compressor and have the working compressor fill up the broken one, twice the air for a lot less money.

Air carbon arc gouging fucking sucks and is gay. Buy a plasma, and get the gouging tips/nozzles, enjoy life. Seriously, I sold welding supplies for a while, and i use to have to blow the dust off the boxes of shitbag “Arcair” carbons whenever someone wanted a box. I think I sold like two boxes of 3/16 carbons to some clown at Hohl industrial, and I gave them to him for half off too. Most people are using plasma arc gouging to fix their “fuck up’s”.

Ta-da. ^^

removing weld is pretty fail with plasma.
Plus Plasmas require a compressor anyway.
Not as much requirements, about half as much… But still require one.
So not like it would be going to waste.

I’ve seen plasma used for removing weld deposits with great success. I’ve seen demos of it from reps from thermal dynamics and esab. It works.

Really? anytime I’ve ever tried it I’ve fucked the metal up pretty good.
Youtube time i’d say.

Yep. It’s all in the tips and nozzles, works like gang busters.
