i have a 2003 mazda 6 sport, 6 cyl 3.0L, 5 speed
in 5th gear it seem like my rpms are really high. not sure if its normal or not…
at 65mph, 3000
at 60mph, 2800
at 45mph, 2500
i don’t know if thats really high or if thats just normal, if you have any info if yours does the same thing or if somethings wrong let me know! thanks!

in any other car i drive in 5th gear at like 65 the rpms are like low 2000s…so thats why i wasn’t sure…

at ~70 I’m starting to hit boost too, not good for fuel economy
ohh okayy lol…i don’t have a turbo or anything but it just sucks cause i get really bad fuel economy especially driving from op to UB and to depew for work everyday…just wondering, thanks!
yes i know, i have a speed3 tho…but you have the same 2.3 and tranny setup as my car
i have the 3.0L so mine is prolly worse lol
My family has had 4 Mazda’s over the years including my 3 and all of them were/are geared low, enjoy the added pep, and hate the mileage!
