The vintage Mustang guys (and probably the Miata guys) agree - keep the Miata and Mustang seperate, kthnx  It’s disproportionate as fuck.

Isn’t that what you did with your Stang. Wasn’t it a Miata originally?
It looks shorter than a stock Mustang too. Looks like shit, and performs like it soo since its a Miata.
Here is a better idea. Take the $15k + that you would dump into this piece of shit and go buy a real one for the same price!

Nope. When I first started reading I got all excited thinking someone was shoe-horning a mustang 4.6 into a Miata, then it got all gay.

^i wouldn’t really consider anything a waste of a miata.
but on a good note, there is a company that puts 5.0’s in miatas. I think they are called the “monster miata” or something like that, they were pretty rediculous.

I would prefer a stock NA 1.6 in a Miata over that heavy thing in the front of a Miata.
Weight distribution > SIIIIIIQQQQQ PUSHROD V8
ive driven a 5.0 miata… was kinda fun… i got a stock one at my house now… its much more fun.
