Like the title says, I have the axles and rear end from a Mazdaspeed miata that I had purchased from a yard off car-part.com. I had planned on putting them on my car before I decided to sell it. I’m not positive on the milage but I know there is about 25-35k miles on them. They are off the same car. I payed 1k plus shipping for them so I am asking 1k firm. I can get pics per request as well as the vin number from the car they came off.
Now 800, NySpeed discount… Not going any lower.
a grand is way too much, these go for around 650 on a good day, where is this one from? stateside? may help to state what the final drive is
Final Drive should be 4.10
I don’t think the price is bad. Used high mileage Torsen units from NA miatas (without axels) usually go for 700 before shipping.
“Be advised that the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata was equipped with a similar 7” ring and pinion, but the differential unit itself is larger. When referring to a “1.8 LSD” the presumption is that the MSM is not included in that category. The MSM also uses larger axles, which are only compatible with the MSM diff.
The MSM limited slip is similar/identical to the limited slip unit found in the Honda S2000."

NB differential will fit an NA which is a nice plus. Not sure on the Mazdaspeed unit because it is slightly larger.
MS carrier is the exact same thing, fatter axles and the internals are the only difference. this will fit any miata from 1989-2005, and the diff itself will fit an ap1 s2000
I am selling the axles with the diff, hence the 1k price tag. From what I understand, you need the axles with that diff if you are putting it in a miata. Don’t know anything about the S2000’s but if you wanted to buy the diff alone we could work something out. I really don’t want to break them up tho because I think it would be harder to unload just the axles.
Need gone, I’m looking to get a bike so this is going towards it. Updated with price.
