im only saying a 4mph gain from 4.10’s on my setup because its been a proven solid gain. Not sure how it would work on others.
I know I had 3.73’s in my V6 and swapped in 3.42’s and gained 7mph…thats a whole different story tho the lower gears put a harder load on the motor and spooled my turbo faster.,

My car didnt go to 7000. Rev limiter is before that.
That was in 5th on the highway- no more pull past 120 and it felt like the car couldnt go any faster.

Yup exactly, every car will react different. Higher HP cars will gain more so when the gear ratio is optimized for the car its turning.
im talking about now.
Even the new cam only makes power until 6200 and the tranny is still stock and the rear is the same.
I guess Ill find out soon. The motor was supposed to go together this weekend, as of Friday night.

- Car wasnt tuned/running strong
- Youre not revving that thing hard at all
- You can go WAYY faster than 120 in the same setup you have, ask me how i know:thumbup
True the car never ran right except for when I first bought it and it was stock except for an intake.
I revved it up to 6500 a few times at the track and it made no difference than revving it up to 5700 or so.
My car had no top end whatsoever. It just didnt go anymore past 120 although thats probably a good thing for me.
