Mens Health: Cell phone Addicted Cities

I was reading my November 08 issue and they have one of their ranking Americas cities pages. I always look to see where Buffalo and Rochester fall on the list and this one surprised me:

Buffalo was #2 and Rochester was #6 on the LEAST addicted to cell phones. I couldn’t believe it.

aha, i can only imagine how the #1 addicted city must be…

Interesting…

i believe it.

I only text, I make probably 1 phone call a day, and receive 10…and they only last a minute… my girlfriend on the other hand, has her email and FB on her black berry, she’s god damn addicted to it.

where do they come up with this crap

I knew someone was going to ask…

First we crunched data from SimplyMap on the percentage of households that own cellphones, as well as the percentage that own a lot of cell phones, i.e., four or more. We also figured in the percentage of tireless texters (Experian Consumer Research) and the number of wireless carriers per capita (US census Bureau). We finished by looking at data from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which tracks laws that ban calling -and texting- from behind the wheel.

probably all iphags no doubt.

who believes information without seeking it’s source?

Americans?
