Just to give an update. The truck is going to be sandblasted then the owner will complete the bodywork. But here is some progress
Pretty much what the truck will look like when it is done, running boards to be added. also now the stock frontend was cut to allow the front to flip forward
the cut in the fender showing where the frontend will seperate.
The bed after it was mouned to the frame. the deck was extended, and the owner requested to make the truck more era correct by rounding all the edges.
tubing was bent and mounted to the truck, followed by sheeting to blend in with the rest of the truck.
sad thing is i want to see whats pulling that big truck. im guessing a medium duty dump truck. but that flatbed will be sweet when its complete. cant wait to see it. there is a nice old red tow truck on w.liberty ave for sale. bout .5 miles up on the left from the tubes. get some ideas from that if you are in the area ever.
damn that thing looks beefy. How in the hell did you get that trailor in your driveway? Like said before, it has to be a big ass truck hauling that trailor and my car barely gets down your front hill. Not to mention it was backed in… good job to that driver.
:dunno: back traffic up a half mile in both directions and take it slow i guess :kekegay:
triaxle dump pulling the tiltbed equipment trailer. no winch on the flatbed since most vehicles run:bash: so we pulled it up with a winch and pulley block. That is what that silver truck’s winch was used for. Logistics has been a royal pain but able to take care of it.
