here is a pic of the tub kit i ordered from suicidedoors.com.they are goign to need cut down a little.
Very nice, keep up the good work
lookin good
alright guys here you go with some update pics i have
work has been going slow but steady. i have changed my mind on things about everytime i see it so that has made things go slow.
there is still a couple of holes to close up on the fire wall. next up is i’m going to be pulling the cab to paint the frame. all of the body and paint work should be done by carilisle there maybe no drive train or interior in it though.
your front tires are mounted on the wrong side.
looks really good do it right.
no,his wheels need right to left or left to right
yea i know the tires are on backwards but they are mounted right. they are only on to see if every thing fits right those things have been off and on so many times and willl be off and on so many more time i don’t even check them any more i just throw them on.
its cool i understand. its amazing how many people out on the road actually have them on the wrong side. cough cough jeff95TA cough cough
well here is the frame where it all begins
-first up is to strip the frame of everything
-then i will be cutting out of all of the rear suspension (new setup coming)
-then the frame will be sand blasted
-then the painting and chroming starts:D
well now that i have some space to work work has begun on my dime again.
starting cutting out all the old rear setup to make way for the new.
that is all i got done today before i ate thru the only grinding disk i had. i will be making a trip to home depot tonight and working on it again tomorrow. mainly i’m just waiting for the new motor to get here so i can put the small block in the frame so the cab can be put back on to see where the fire wall will need to be cut to make room for the bigger motor. hope to have everything mocked up in the next couple of weeks so it can be tore back down to preped for paint. should have paint on it by mid to end of july:blue:
well here are a couple pics of the rear setup still need to cut out the frame and get some longer bolt to bolt up the rear end bracket but this is all just mocked up for now.
looking good. glad to hear you are putting a small block in.
any updated pics gregg?
