I am in the same boat as you. Need a trans. First gear slide arm broke in the trans. The car is stuck in first gear.

I’ll probably still have it. Mainly because i was playing around with it today since i had time, and after listening to it/diagnosing it i dont think its a rod knock…(my 4g63 had rod knock and this, while does sound a lil similar has different characteristics than it did on the 4g63). It sounds more like the lifter tick dsm’s are known for. Either way, itll more than likely still be here.
