Congrats to Mike sticking to the 2.0 and laying down some serious 4g63 power.

Rediculous . That car is a beast for sure

Forgot to add the dynosheet. A shade under 700hp by 7k. Not bad for a 2.0 on that big of a turbo. From his posts on other boards the journal bearing BW s374 spools a hair faster than the previous GT4294R :eek4:

Christ!

I got to see this car in person at the shoot out, I wanted sit in the drivers seat and make turbo noises

Wow! Very impressive!

Wow … Impressive!!

good song

car is impressive. 200+ standing mile runs, and seen him rip off an 8 second pass at nopi michigan for #1 qualifier when we qualified #2 at 9.3.

At 6000 rpms i make as much power as he does  then it just gets ridiculous!

That dyno chart is crazy!!

Mike’s car is rediculous def a bad ass car

This is just an example why i think the 4G63 is the best motor ever made, but its a close race with the 2JZ, but the toyoter is a 6 cylinder. 4G63 is only a little 2.0 4 cylinder and yet its power for its cubes is unbelieveable. Got to be the best motor ever made period

The chassis options for the 4g63 are different. You can run a streetable AWD to 9 second slips with a 4g63. You can run 8-9 second slips in race car AWD’s. If your good enough you can run 7’s. If you just want a cheap racecar slap a junkyard 4g63 in it ($400-500 for a healthly motor) and have 550whp on tap all season long. Depending on what chassis you use it can run from 6’s (like Rau) to 8’s (like Buschur) or 9’s (like a lot of conquests etc…).

2jz cars are IMO expensive. The motors aren’t exactly cheap to buy or cheap to build. If I’m going wiht a motor that long and that tall I’d rather build a V8 anyways. The sound of a 2jz is just sex though, trumps a 4g any day of the week.
