Military Surplus Humvee Sales - $10k

Off road use only, but that’s kinda what I’d want one for! There will be nearly 4,000 up for sale. The ones listed now have mileage as low as 1,300.

I want one with a maching gun on top…seven bullets only of course.

Dealer plates

Sweet 97% off sale

Realistically though, is there any way to register these things?

I have dealer plates right next to me everyday…

Get dealer plates, in some states you can get bonded titles. They’d be good off-road but the insides suck.

I’d buy one just to paint red white and blue and do dusty dirty burnouts all over the place.

seem like a good deal unless there are a bunch of hidden fees

These trucks are junk… I’ll take one!

5-ton or bust.

add some Lizard Skin, acoustic fabric and Recaros and you’re good.

What motor do these have ? Old 6.5L diesel? Can they get out of their own way?

when I worked in AZ I drove a few of these old army H1’s that have been handed down to CBP for operations at the southwest border and boy are they piles of shit…really manly shit

Looks like 6.2L diesels.

And I wonder if you can register these as a home-built kit?

Seems like a perfect fit for you then…

Drove one once. Meh.
offer it for $1500 and ill go tear up the crash a rama circuit

no they are slower than fuck… assuming fuck was a unit of measure. banks offered assistance trying to help but they are still slow by car standards. I have never driven anything designed to be shot at though so perhaps I am off base here… also they are stripping the armor and weapons from these before sale so they will probably not weigh 13-14K lbs in auction trim.

edit:

braking we got to 200 ft and decided that braking was the other guys problem

1/4 mile 25 seconds at 52mph

WOW a big heavy vehicle made for off roading isn’t fast?!?! and doesn’t stop quick!?!?!?

HOLY FUCK

I just don’t see the allure for most people. Especially around here. We just don’t have any kind of terrain what would be fun to drive one of those things.
