The Alpha One with creature comforts were going for $150K in it’s last year of public production.
But it also had a Duramax 6600 producing 300 horsepower and 520 lb-ft torque.
I would look for a used Kodiak
Like a beat commerical one that you could convert to have a bed.

hey Pat the military issue ones are REALLY beat to shit and entirley to expensive for what they are.
Actual military ones were rarely sold. the only ones in circulation now were old marine ones that were sold off in the south west. your better off trying for something else. There good all terrain vehicles but for any one purpose there just OK. I’ve put them through any paces you could. From mudding, deep snow driving, rock climbing, long distance, towing pretty much anything you can imagine. He’ll I even got free reign and turned one into a mad max mobile.
Over all they suck for DD winter driving especially because they take FOREVER to warm up and never really stay all to warm.
IMHO there are MUCH better options
My cousin had a H1 for a few years about 5 years ago…
His was a show car, it was on car audio magazines cover and stuff like that.
The think from a driver standpoint was a total piece of shit. It would rarely start, he had a ton of motor and transmission problems with it, also turbo problems.
It sat in his driveway in grand island for most of its life, awaiting repairs.
