I don’t have a problem with that already. Paige Mill is a very tight road and really doesn’t give the bikes much of a chance to use their lbs/hp advantage. My car will out-brake bikes and holds a huge advantage in the tighter corners. Higher-speed corners it’s closer, and long straights I get walked (hell, even most 600s these days can walk a 450rwhp 3100lbs car).
Paige Mill and Pescadero are two of the best twisty roads Ive ever had the chance to drive. I chased my buddy with R6 down Paige Mill in a Wrx that was some of the best driving ever…
I gotta get back out there again soon finding I decent rental car shouldnt be hard in the Bay Area. Either that or Im sure I could find something fun to rent in either Palo Alto or Atherton. But who knows :dunno:
Well I got the 'Vette Brake Products poly bushings installed… what a BITCH. I replaced the bushings in all 8 control arms. While I was at it I threw in new front hubs.
I started fitting up my 18x11 & 18x12 CCW Classics I got for LG’s son… well they came w/ huge front spacers. :madfawk: so I had to pull the front end back apart and pull the hubs off so I could press out the stock studs and press in some longer ARPs. All fine and well 'cept now I can’t run my :bling: closed-end lug nuts w/ the street wheels. Oh well, that’s life. It goes for an alignment tomorrow and it’s ready for the start of the season.
I think the rest of the stuff (coil-overs, adj. sways, maybe diff etc.) will wait 'till mid-season. The seat does need to happen ASAP though.
