well just got out of the shower after a very long weekend.
I think denis and I made about 10 passes in the car combined this weekend during qualif., open sessions, and elims.
the class was super competitive this weekend. I was 11th with a 12.3@121mph I believe and I raced #5 in the first round and he was runnin 12.0X most of the weekend at about 117-119mph. he 60fted me by a long way and I just didn’t have enough track to catch up.
the car ran a best of 12.004@125mph this weekend on the BFG’s. that is on a pump gas tune off the wastegate spring.
we did a lot of testing this weekend. first qual. for some reason the wg wouldn’t open and it was hitting boost cut at 28psi so I jogged to a 14.3@71mph. denis took it for 2 open sessions to get the boost figured out and it went 12.1@121 problem was he hit the limiter in the traps so we went to the bigger tires. ran it again and went 12.7@117 3 times in a row in the second qual and open session. so we put the small ones back on. went 12.3 and went to the hotel. got 3 passes today a 12.8@123, 12.3@124mph and 12.0@125mph.
I want to thank jeff for gettin the cage done so fast this week and whitey and the other guy(forgot the screen name) that helped me get the interior back in it, Denis, Jay, Sailor, Steve, Lucack for helping so much this weekend with my car and steve and denis for towing the car down there.
I hope to get a race gas tune on the car soon and shake the car down before the next big event a good bit to get a feel of it. all in all I am very happy with the weekend and the testing we got done.

Well last time i checked we were talking about ET’s and traps asshole… NOT horsepower. 
thanks. I think the learning curve will get better with more seat time. I only had the car back a few nice days before the cage went in it and then only drove it from jeffs, home then to hybrid trying not to beat on it at all since it was raining so hard. So really the first time I did a full 4 gear pull was 2nd rd of qual. this weekend
we will see. I hope that on a race gas tune it can push through those big tires up top

Seat time will help you the most sammy. When we tuned my 240 to 470whp i couldnt drive it any faster than when it had 427whp.
