My buddy and I took his kids for the first time to see them (10yr and 7yr).
Lighting wasn’t the greatest and I was shooting from the other side of the arena with my P&S.

We went today. We sat in about the same place/had a similar view to the pics posted.
My 2 year old loved it. The sound scared him in the beginning, but then he got over it.
decided to not go this year since there was no Digger
I went Friday night with my lil brother (8) for his Birthday, they def. put on a good show.
The lack of Digger was discouraging but Meents is pretty awesome, too bad the tuck broke right at the beginning of freestyle.
That sucks Grave Digger wasn’t there. My 2 nephews (4 and 3) went to see some monster trucks and Grave Digger is their favorite. Its good to see Maximum Destruction was there though. It seems that he was putting on a good show since he was flipped over! Do they have an area that the kids can go up to the trucks up close and personal before or after the show?
I sold a motor a few years ago to some random guy from Ohio. When he came to pick it up, I find out he is one of the drivers for Grave Digger. Not a big deal really, but I still think it is pretty cool.
Motor was from a Suzuki Samurai and he liked to turbo them and use the little things as practice for the real Digger. At first I didn’t believe him but he whipped out a home video camera and it was all legit. He was nuts.

I saw my nephews at lunch time today. The first thing the youngest said to me was “John, I saw Destruction! He’s BBIIIIGGG! He flip over upside down!”
So I think they enjoyed themselves…
Not like the Monster Jams I remember as a little kid. Haven’t seen a Monster Jam since this fella was around… Stopped wanting to go after Bigfoot stopped making appearances. Glad the kids liked it, though.
It wasn’t Monster Jam back then. Bigfoot franchise still races a few trucks the newest is more a Summit Racing truck than Bigfoot though. Runte still drives.
