I’m making a list for the ‘Wheels & Tires’ trader here, but I think the following is too long and want to shorten it to the most common patterns:
4 x 100
4 x 107.95
4 x 110
4 x 114.3
4 x 130
4 x 140
5 x 100
5 x 107.95
5 x 114.3
5 x 115
5 x 120
5 x 120.65
5 x 130
What should be removed?
No one? Maybe I should just use them all? :gotme:
4x100, 5x100, 5x112, 5x114.3, 5x120, 5x130
Dont forget the domestic conversions…5 x 4.5 etc.
I’ve honestly never heard anyone refer to bolt pasterns in inches, only size and width. Is this really necessary?
This is America isnt it???
Stupid metric system.
Yeah, America is also about “easy” and Metric is much easier than English measurements, lol.
Anyone else?
5x4.5=5x114.3
25.4mm =1 inch
I dont like math.
Isnt some german stuff 5x112?
Mercedes is 5x112 and Bmw is 5x120

The only time I’ve ever seen 5x4.5" listed was for a replacement Ford OEM Wheel…I have no idea why it was listed like that.
I agree with these: 4x100, 5x100, 5x112, 5x114.3, 5x120, and 5x130 with the addition of a 6 lug category (non-specific).
the only ones on that list I feel should go are 4x130 and 4x140.
I see alot of you guys not listing 4x108 in your “keeper” lists…that’s all 4-lug fords from 99-up and a lot of older audi’s…
Thanks, those were totally missing.
“maybe add what manufacturers these bolt patterns fit?” - that’s how I translated it
The problem with that is manufacturers use multiple bolt patterns and some wheels have multiple bolt pasterns.
The idea is to have a list where people can check off which patterns apply to their wheels.
What vehicles even use these patterns?
I come across 4x100 & 4x114.3 most often.

WTF is 107.95
is for Korean cars or something strange?
This is one of those things that makes me scratch my head in 2013. Can’t this number be pared down to like 2 different sizes? Do we need a dozen different bolt circles?
that’s the real-world dimension of what is referred to as 4x108. It’s 4x4.25"
Not to screw it all up, but aren’t Cadillac CTS-V and many new GM cars running 6-lug. 6x120 I think?
BTW, a lot of GM Cars are also 5x120mm like BMW. Definitely don’t get rid of that.
5x108 is something Ford used to run on say the Focus ZXx.
You are correct. And with the amount of trucks on here now… I think a 6x category is appropriate.
