It also depends on how you take care of it! Im sure if you dont get it under coated for years and years of winter it will get rusty no matter what.
Now back on subject i think the ZR1 should have gotten car of the year but thats just me. I mean yea the GTR is nice but for the money i would image the ZR1 has more to offer. The GTR won because its easier for those old men to drive that tested it.

The GTR is around $40k less then the ZR1 FYI. BTW, I thinks both cars are meh the GTR just sucks more.

not quite, not sure where you got those numbers from. there are many gtr flowing on ebay for less than 80k.
yea if i would ever get around to giving the truck a buff it would look brand new. cleaned the interior about a month ago and that looked brand new. truck has 184,500 miles on it. its about maintenance

The car of the year award goes to cars of that actual year. If just because one owns a F-body means they can not judge, then why would anyone that doesnt own a GTR be able to have an opinion.
i am a nissan guy for life, so as far as the technology is concerned the gtr is the most advanced car made period. it just about drives itself, which imo is its downfall. I personally (can’t belive im saying this) would take the zr1 corvette as its sheer fun and scary to drive. but above that the viper acr would take the cake for me. i want a car i have to DRIVE not a car that DRIVES by itself. Anyone can drive a gtr. not everyone can drive a zr1.
Exactly, i forget where but i remember reading on a Mercedes or BMW how there making manuals more like automatics. The electronics are gonna control the clutch and when downshifting it automatically rev matchs… Poeple are just getting lazy in my book!
