Anyone know where to buy muffler packing for a bike ? I want to repack the my mufflers on the RC before i sell it and was wondering where i could pick some up.

if you still have the RT-one’s on there, jardine makes a repack kit that has everything you need. they are pretty cheap if i remember correctly. like less than 30 bucks. i have never really shopped around for them, so i don’t really know what would be a good price.

I got mine from Freewheeling.
I repacked the muffler on my old quadzilla (2 stroke 500) with house insulation. Someone must have told me it was ok because I know I wouldn’t have just tried that. It worked great BTW, and cost nothing because I had some around the house.
2-stroke insulation and 4 stroke insulation are different. I’m not sure you would get the same affect from using house insulation on a 4 stroke engine. The insulation is quite a bit more dense.
