all i could think of when they took off was how stupid they were to be doing that on the street… i’m old.
I think a lot of you miss the point.
This wasn’t some random Porsche on his way to a road course this is a Porsche built for street/grudge/drag racing this was for $5000.
Wheel stands on the street. So good.
My first thoughts were (man this guy needs a bigger tire). I was dead wrong
Fox body was a 3 pedal car too. Guy can drive
get out of here, that’s a turbo with an expensive body kit, forged wheels, and some bolt ons…
Bello’s car that I posted above is a proper purpose built street fighter.
I think I read that fox body only has a 331 in it. I assume with a lot of nitrous
Another video of the mustang
i was just about to post the same thought.
the vrt is just an attempt at making the aging 997 seem relevant in the world of the 991.
i still stand by my previous post about wanting to know what constitutes this 997 as being “built”
in the second vid it looks like the vette had a decent launch off the rubber that was put down but then just lost traction after the shift. Street tires vs proper slicks in a video will almost always go down this way on big power cars. Both cars are impressive, but the races are just predictable.
Anything from izzy perf is built to run. U buncha crybabies that a mustang kicked his ass in a 5k street race is funny
They both put up money thinking they could win!! This wasn’t the first race for the mustang, he’s been out crushing cars for a while and the drive has always had badass cars.
Looks like another… A day in the life of a mustang owner. Hahahaha
Not sure how you see it that way…
If it was so predictable why would they put up 5k? This video was taken in a area that has street racing on a regular basis people know how fast the Mustang is maybe they wanted to give away 5k?
Race for 5k, lose. Come back & race for 15k and win
Good luck. Ha[COLOR=“Silver”]

One of the vids I caught said carbed NA 331, I believe 495rwhp. Paired to a heavily prepped T5, a low curb weight, and one hell of a driver, this is all that car needs to hook n book it’s way (most likely) into the 9’s.
Maybe try the standing mile next time, maybe double or nothing? ha ha.
Yeah, it says 331 cube, 495 rwhp, and a t-5…
MUST BE TRUE!!!
It’s more than possible, and it’s been done numerous times in the Mustang world. Here’s a close friend of mine hitting 515rwhp out of a 363"…and he’s just an everyday dude with a garage and this is his first go round on this combo. Add in some bigger money, drop some cubes, convert to a carb, there’s your 495rwhp. T-5’s can be converted to handle the big power, they just lose any sense of streetability. Check out G-Force for an example of what can be built: http://www.gforcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-5.asp
I never said it wasn’t possible. I seriously doubt that a grudge car racing for $5k a pop is going to disclose any real details online. That car runs as fast as they need it to run for a given race. Wouldn’t surprise me if they have a few different engines to play with depending on who they are up against.
Lol engine swap for a race . Well I guess you never know ha
363’s prob pull a premium a week before racewars so he had to run the 331
