Holy wheelie
Still would rather have the Porsche
There are going to be a bunch of cancelled orders at Porsche after that video. I mean who is going to want to show up at the country club in that slow assed Porsche?
Cars bad ass. heres a better video of same race.
Heres is 2 more races its done,
Everything about it is cool except that I hope a built Mustang with slicks on it that does wheelies could beat a stock Porsche
I don’t think the Porsche is stock so :tif:
“Porsche-automatic,built,twin turbo,AWD,e85”
Even Still…if the Porsche would have done a whoooooolie…Epic Vid
Porsche > Built Mustang any day…there is much more to enjoy than just going fast straight…like the attention from gold diggas!
Looks like the dude makes a few bucks on the side going fast straight. Enough races and he can go buy that Porsche in cash!
That Mustang is incredibly well set-up. Tons of power out of a relatively simple combo. It’s the perfect balance of everything needed to get its specific job done.
Completely agree
equal tires and no traction compound and I think the porsche would have had it which says a lot since it’s not a drag car. I expected more cars from the stang.
EXACTLY
Why should they race instead just compare dyno slips.
they should have roll raced that shit.
I’m just saying that traction compound and slicks vs street tires are a bit like a bicycle racing a motorcycle.
this is the 911 that should have been racing that stang since they’re from the same era:
The Mustang had to pedal it (you can hear him get out of it) right at the start or it would have been ugly. It was headed up on the bumper and would have gotten air under the rears. I don’t think they figured it would have hooked like that or they wouldn’t have been so aggressive on the launch. The Porsche didn’t stand a chance. When you see a car with beadlock wheels, you have to assume the car has some power and can hook.
i would like to know what the porsche has done to it besides the vrt body kit and some e85 tune.
Stang was definitely purpose built and I doubt it would fare well on a road course. Both impressive none the less. I don’t know what my reaction would be to looking up at the street lights upon punching the throttle but I give him credit for keeping in it and pulling a good run. Could only imagine the cost / carnage if either one of them lost it early.
Izzy performance builds some nasty grudge street cars.
Jesus.
That mustang is such a sweet street racer.
