However for the price I’d much rather have one of a thousand other, much better setups.
This is baller though. I’d like to move to Dubai some day.

  • I do not have this as it’s way to over priced. It’s a cool Idea though

That is pretty cool, but $6500. Seems like you could have a much better setup for that kinda cash.

That hurts my eyes looking at it. Not sure if I would like sitting in front of that all day. I do like the idea of a seemless “dual monitor”.

$6500 is ridiculous. I don’t know too much about how LCDs are manufactured but I don’t see how adding a bend could make it so fucking expensive. I bought a 25" widescreen HD monitor for $200 for god’s sake.

That would be awesome for video editing

That’s pretty cool. The picture of the curved display on a flat monitor looks all distorted, but at 43" and curved I bet having the whole thing be equidistant from your eyes would really look good and reduce eye strain.

No different than doing this, except way better:

In that case, I think I’d take 30 25" monitors over this.

Or, 3 25" monitors and a whole boat load of coke and strippers

Hookers, get it right. If I’m forgoing the other 27 I want to touch.

stripper + coke = hooker

I like your math skills lol

I have a setup very similar to what fry posted, it uses ATI’s 5000 series graphics card with a technology called eyefinty. that pic posted is a chump because they use 2 different sized monitors, mine are all 22’’.

Multiple Monitors doesn’t seem practical for gaming…I don’t need a bezel in my line of fire. For CAD, multi-tasking…that’s fine.

That display is a really cool concept. The main issue isnt the price, its that its a garbage TN LCD at a stunningly low pixel density compared to the cost. Id imagine the backlight is dim and uneven as well, due to the curve.

Its not a easy task to do something like that, which is why nobody does it. So, They can charge basically whatever they want.

And id say a line in-between displays in CAD and things of the sort would be a horrid idea. General multi-tasking or gaming would be fine with 3 monitors, a main centered one and one to each side… But two displays would shove the center right at the gap, making for some terrible gaming.
