My Garage Build Thread

Thanks, I probably spend more time thinking about what I do/build on this thing, than the actual time it takes for me to do the work.

Whats a proper budget for a garage thus far in the progress? I know you can get crazy with fixtures, fridges, etc etc

There’s proof, 2 car garage.

whos S10 is that BTW…yours?

Very nice man!

Thanks, yeah, it was my “for work” truck, till I got the TDi. I’m still on the fence about keeping it or getting rid of it. I spent a lot of time making everything on that truck work like it should, now it sees more miles driving around the backyard moving firewood to the pit, than it does on the road. LOL

Looks great.

Looks very nice. I might have missed it, did you decide against radiant floor heat?

Dan

The pics do not do it justice, it is much better in person.

yeah, had to draw the line somewhere, however I won’t be laying on the ground to work in this garage…

oh man it’s so beautiful

Looks like you got the VW in the right place :-p jk

Looks great

A lift too
Ugh so jealous

+1

What brand lift?

looks awesome Im soo jealous… both the garage and the TDI :stuck_out_tongue:
nows a perfect time to do a DPF delete and a tune…

fuuuuuck!

God damn…you better not be moving for a long time.

yeah right? WTF? Nice!

Thanks guys, I’ve been waiting and saving for quite a while to make all this happen. Lift is a Loomis Root, I couldn’t beat the price and considering I am a “once in a while” user for this thing, I didn’t get into a mohawk or something high end.

BadnewsMike, I though about taking the DPF out, and getting the Malone tune, but who am I kidding, this thing is slow no matter how you slice it. If I ever go off on a higher MPG quest, then I might, and get some really light weight wheels, etc. For now I’ve got coil overs on the way, just to fit in with everything else I drive.
