My Honda Brothers!!

Anyone in the area running a Kseries engine? and if so you have k-pro to play with it? i just got it in and was looking for tome tuning tips on it

have you watched the tutorials on their website? lots of info on there. i also printed out the manual. it made it easier for me to read. that’s how i learned the navigation of the software. k-pro is pretty sweet, lots of features. are you using the type-s O2 sensor?

no stock for now im going to pick some up im going to add about 60whp worth of mods in a weekend cams intake manifols exhaust the whole shebang

i’m pretty sure that you are going to need the type-s primary O2 sensor. i don’t believe that yours will be compatible with K-pro, unless they changed it. what kind of cams are you putting in? also what intake mani are you gonna run?

i know im going to need an 02 thats my next purchase im going with skunk 2 stage 2 cams, prc intake with a plentum spacer

i have a k series but it is in a 06 si and k pro aint made for it since it runs dbw and a maf:ugh:

yeah i hate it every morning in the winter when i drive it the car chugs when it is cold honda has updated the computer once and it made it WAY better hopefully there will be another reflash for it

atleast yours has the 6 speed mine should have, and the lsd…and the rev limiter…and the horsepower…lol yeah mine is a poor excuse for a kseries its the little retarded one everyone makes fun of behind its back lol

yeah true i have driven both and it is such a night and day difference between mine and yours its not even funny the few times i drove an ep3 i couldnt believe how much more power mine has stock for stock

even my boss who has a base rsx says that he likes mine better

yeah i havent had a chance to drive the new onebut i know its got to be better then mine…i think with the hondata k-pro im sitting somewhere closer to 148whp or so so it isnt ass bad as before but still not good…i have alot of parts still in the mail to me and im going to put all of them one one weekend…basicly a new head and everything that bolts to it lol i should hope to be around 190whp n/a and without touching the bottom end so i could always go f/i if i wanted to later

hopefully you get the power you are looking for out of it i would have to say a good 90% of the 06’s have been dynoing in the 180’s stock and a few have hit over 200 with i/h/e and hondata reflash

i cant wait for comptech to release the icebox then i will get that and there header and exhaust

well you couyld always mod your own air box have you seen how to do that yet? you keep it sock on the outside and dremel out all the interior so its just a big hollow box with an air filter in it its sweet and works great from what i hear…but yeah still i would be happy with the 42.5whp you have over mine stock lol i think i gained 10-12 hp with the hondata ecu alone i saw some dyno graphs of the base rsx with intake and k-pro and its basicly the same engnine i have with a different intake manifold…so yeah…im hopeing to reach my goals too then ill probably throw a tubro kit i make myself on it…because i have a turbo and a hks bov already so i figured it wouldnt be to hard from there…

thanks!! i have a turbo and i have a bov sitting in my closet…i just need a few pieces but first i have to max out my n/a potential without touching the block then ill turbo my engine and have a red line of 8600 (stock is 6800)

K20 on 8600 RPM with turbo would make a lot of power. Just make sure you get the AFR right and you don’t overlook injector upgrades.
