My new front lip. Now I need side skirts.

Just got the greddy lip installed and holy crap, what a difference. Here are some before and afters.

Before:

After:

Now due to its aggressive nature, Im probably going to need sideskirts to add balance back to the vehicle. JDMLand.com wont let me order type-r side skirts for some reason. And waiting 3-4 months for them is unnecessary too. Any suggestions on a good fitting side skirt? Price isn’t a huge factor, but obviously it can’t be crazy expensive.

Here is a pic of the current side skirts (the greddy lip wasn’t installed yet).

Hate it so much.

yeah, not feelin that

if you like it though.

don’t like either… looked cleaner stock. I think the reason is that it adds another layer of holes / vents below the fog light location which looks awkward and doesn’t flow with the shapes above.

Rice.

Exactly, and it’s too tall. If it was 1/2 the height, black or CF and had no holes I’d like it… like the subaru v-limited lip…

try n1concepts.com
i got my dc2 itr sideskirts from there, i dont know if they have dc5

this pretty much says it all, but to each their own. If you want to complete the rice look then you should get side skirts also. I also think it looked way better stock.

Horrible rice.

pretty bad.

I echo their sentiment

hahah! You guys are killin me…i love it. Maybe if it had fog lights, it would look a bit cleaner. Like on this pic.

^^^^ this is a perfect response. More people need to take e-criticism in stride…

the fog lights do help.

Thats what I was thinkin. Less empty space. With the foglight spot not filled it looks like somethings missin. I think Ill take care of that when I get sides.

the fog lights dont help as much as the bumper being at the same level as the grass.

ricey lips suck because they sit too high above the ground and draw attention to themselves, and if you slam the car, you’ll tear the lip off anyways.

Hell stock hondas bottom out on crayons, yet people lower them 4’’

the best bet is to grab a very subtle lip.

this is better imo

x2 on what Karter said… the grass visually dropping the ride height is why that looks better.

It’s just too much IMO

that’s the lip i like, DC-5R CF

oh, and you need to slam your car, maybe that will help, you have mad wheel gap yo
