My new Puppy! Updated 3/9/08 MORE PICS!

Its been a hard two weeks, I had to put one of my dogs down two weeks ago, he was getting really aggressive and snapping at people. He was my girls dog when she lived in Miami for school and then she shipped him home to live with her parents. We think her landlord abused him once or twice, so she shipped him home and he was cool until her sister had a baby. He became really weird and started to bite people. He actually bit me three times. He would be fine after doing it, like he didnt know he just did it or something. Anyway he was a great dog ( besides the bitting) and it was really hard to letting him go. Putting a dog down was the hardest thing I ever had to do. So I really wanted another dog and I have been looking for a long time at Italian Greyhounds, here is the one I picked out. His name is Tiny Tim and hes currently 11 weeks old and weighs in at 4 lbs. 4 oz. He should be around 9-10 lbs when he full grown. Not really sure what I will call him when he gets here on friday.

Sure as hell better than a fucking Pug. Looks like a cutey!

awesome dogs, ive been thinking of getting one myself.

thats a cool lookin little dog.

do the italian greyhounds have the same lifespan as a reg. greyhound?

its so skinny

its gonna be a nice pup.

does it have fur?

aww sweet!

we have had a few full sized greys over the years, such great dogs

They live ~14-15 years.

Not much, they hate going outside when its cold and windy. They love sleeping under blankets.

Be careful. Italian greyhounds are known to be timid and snappish. It would suck if the new dog developed the same fear aggression issues as the last one.

Good luck. He’s cute.

bah just carry him around with you no matter where you go for the first few months, that should keep him friendly with people.

After some quick research it looks like they are quite fragile, none the less very cute puppy, Congrats!

One of the girls I dated when I lived in Florida had one of these. That was such an awesome dog!!

I dont think so, I researched them for the last two years. Very nice tempers, no aggression. besides I have a 4 year old Jack Russell that will he keep him in line.

Good deal. Haha Tiny Tim. Nice.

the girl?

Here are some updated pics.
