Good and bad.
First the good. I have never seen a go-cart track that has a drag setup with propane powered small block chevy dragsters running slicks. You only get going about 50 in my guesstimation, but ill be damned if these things doesnt chirp when you hit the paddle for second. About 25 of us ran on a slick track and were just destroying everything. The people running the place got tired of yelling and just let us run wild.
The cars here are pretty bad ass. Havent seen much rice but alot of sick vettes, 350z, many vbadass g35s, vipers, and more exotics than I would have thought.
Bad…its about 98 the last few days but feels like 120 to me. I could never live here and deal with this everyday of the summer. You walk out of the office or hotel and it hits you like a brick wall. Its rare to see someone running any car with the windows down…everyone runs air conditioning here.
I know the palce you were at, i went there a few times since my brother lives in Dallas. I love the little drag strip, since no one has a fucking clue how to use the tree. I loved being the old fart that kicked everyones ass…LOL
