i obviously don’t give a shit.

88-91 Civics fucking rock the auto-x, but they’re not sports cars either.

M3? Sports car. 318? Underpowered but fun commuter car.

as a first car i was overjoyed. actually quite glad my first car wasn’t an m3. as great as a driver i wish i was… i don’t think i would have been capable of handling an m series.

and your first car? 88-91 civic?

Kabota > civic

back on topic. I love how the L’s make duals. Even though the kid doesn’t have em. Thats how you tell a sports car. Duals bitches

true duals > none of that dual dual shit *

close… 89 CRX.

i didn’t know shit about cars at the time though, and let it go for $400 because the auto tranny was dying…

my car is tru dual

focker thier not true duals

An agile vehicle that is easily maneuverable, accelerates briskly, brakes positively, handles well and steers precisely. It is tightly sprung and does not wallow and heave as does a conventional passenger car and is therefore not as comfortable.

a small low car with a high-powered engine; usually seats two persons

A sports car is a car designed for sporting performance. While opinions differ as to the exact definition, most sports cars have two seats and two doors, and are designed to excel at a combination of acceleration, top speed, braking, and maneuverability. Great emphasis is often placed on handling—the ability of the car to remain in the control of the driver under challenging condition such as when the car’s tires begin to lose their grip on corners.

I think a modified anything can fit those definitions. My civic is a sports car, it has no other purpose now but to travel faster around autox/road courses/ backroads than anything else. It is nimble, forgiving, light(under a ton), quick(under a 15 second 1/4 mile), stop quickly and handles(well over 1.0 g even on street tires) better than most cars. there is nothing on this car besides the radio, that doesnt help it do the above.

My definition of sports car is simple, A car that goes when you hit the gas, turn when turn the steering wheel, and stops when you hit the brake. It sounds so simple but most cars do not do these things right a way.

MYL on the other hand have no focus on performance, in fact alot against it.

you ragged on my 5 speed and you had a SLUSHBOX?
