Can’t wait to see the final product 
well i just got home from working on the car…got some good news and some bad lol…i guess ill gove you the good first…
-taped the whole car
-sanded the whole car with 80 grit
-fixed rust spots on fender rails
-filled all dents and dings
-took rear bumper off
-took tail lights out
-took spoiler off
-removed mud flaps
and the bad stuff that i found kinda made me a little worried but i think it can manage getting it all done…when i took the rear bumper off i found another hole in the body ron the left side where you can put your hand down the side of the quarter panel…and when i took the mud flaps off i found that the bottom of my rear quarters are rotted out…i have a question about this and hopefully i get the answer im looking for lol…im wondering if it is possible to cut out the bottom of the rear quarters and weld new non rusted out ones in…can i get the new or do i have to cut them off another 240?? i will be posting pic as soon as i get some…lol i fotgot to take some today sorry:P
Good luck on the project man, I had to stop with mine when I found rust after removing the engine + other components since I don’t have a welder.
i do in barrie good job man you use to be able to buy new 1/4 panels just cut some outta a rotten one i caught my 240 on fire today with my welder
shitty deal…lol hopefully it didnt cause any damage…im going to oshawa on tuesday to pick up some front fenders from ONEEIGHTZERO…then i just have to make my way to the junk yard to hopefully find a good set of quarter panels…

well went out last night…only had 4 hours to mess around with the car cuz i had to pick up my wife but this is what i got done…pics will be posted while i am there all weekend…
-cut out all rust spots and prepped for weleding new stuff in
- shaved trunk (not sure if i should sahve the wiper or not…)
- fiberglassed over little holes
- formed sheet metal to fit all places that need to be welded
well guys finally got the welding done…heres the pics…the car will be ready for prime as soon as i cover and smooth the welds on the rear quarters…they arent perfectly formed but im not too worried because the body kit will cover it…
here some more progress pics…still some touch ups that need to be done…

nothing…traded it for my old mx6 that i paid 300$ for…
ah, i knew the last 2 owners… they were both douchebags. I bought it off the owner Richard, who wasnt the legal owner and the guy before him sold it with an illegal safety and emission, I got it on a hoist looked at weld patchjob and notice its fucked. I cant believe the MoT didnt confiscate the car or do anything about either of them or did they? dunno… well anyways you coulda got a free chassis if youd been on earlier 
yeah i got it off of richard snow’s buddy sean…and that “patch” as you call it hat was on the frame rail…lmao yeah that isnt what i would call a patch…lmao it was like very extremely thin sheet metal that wAs put on with resin and maybe like 2 tack welds…lmao…and the guys that i know that had it never tryed registering it on the road yet…and as for that free chassis i would have picked that up tonight if i had of seen that earlier…that sucks i missed it
Aha i miss having a 240… i put a viper alarm in it almost a month after having it than literally removed it 2 days later 
So you putting new frame rails on it or mend what little is there? cause months ago I saw a good half dozen pignose at Cory’s autowrecker with salvageable parts. The season hasnt been too bad this year so you might find some good parts.
