I drove my moms car today because I needed to drive on a somewhat chunky dirt road. Good thing I did because some dude in a GTI punctured his oilpan and totally leaked out driving up the road.

yup that happens. if its a 1.8t or 2.0T, they have cast alloy pans. very brittle. im amazed i never cracked mine yet in the nearly 4 years ive had my car
